This week has been somewhat uneventful for our little guy. Cissie came to visit us from Knoxville on Tuesday but unfortunately, he went down for his nap about 10 minutes before she got here and he slept the entire 3 1/2 hours she was here. She was able to hold him briefly but, he started getting fussy since it was time to eat so she didn't get as much snuggle time as I would have liked. Hopefully she will be in town again soon-she is about to finish up the spring semester at school, so summer is on it's way!!
The exciting news about this week was that we have now had all of our new friends born between the last two weeks and we are happy to report that they are all happy and healthy. Adam and Lanie's little boy, Miles, was born last week; along with our cousin's little girl, Maddie (Megan and David's baby). This week, Addi (Jake and Cassie) and Cohen (Josh and Allison) made their grand entrance on Monday. Ironically, they were in rooms right next door to each other and they were born within 30 minutes of the other. We didn't make it to the hospital, but I'm sure those nurses were glad to be rid of all our crazy families/friends! We went to visit Addi after they got home and you can tell by the picture above that Baxter is quite a bit bigger than his partner-in-crime...we have a feeling this is going to be a common theme with all of his new friends.
Also, this week, our sister-in-law's, Amy, sister (Emily) had her sweet little boy on Thursday in Germany (Emily's husband is in the military over there). We were all holding our breath that it would be a smooth and safe delivery as she has had many complications since her first trimester. After many hours of labor---Joshua Danger was born with great ease! I know Amy and her family took a huge sigh of relief once they got the good report.
Sorry for all the names....trust me....it gets hard for all of us to keep up as well! The Lord has been so good to all of us and we thank him each and every day and ask that he continue to guide us all throughout our journey. More pics to come!!
